Turn-based hex tactics · iPhone
Squad tactics on a hostile asteroid.
Command the Azure Corps against the Crimson Pact. Hold the high ground, seize the mining rigs, and bring their base down: one hex, one turn, one hard decision at a time. A sixteen-mission campaign teaches you the trade and then asks you to finish the war.
No account needed. No tracking. You choose whether anonymous crash reports and usage stats are sent.

Void Asteroid is small enough to learn in a match and deep enough to keep you coming back. The terrain, your roster and the enemy commander all change the plan.
High ground stretches your range and your sight. Ridges hide what's behind them. The fog of war lifts only where your squad can see.
Snipers can't fire point-blank. Lieutenants strike before anyone can shoot back. Artillery lobs shells over walls. Rocketeers do double damage to vehicles.
Engineers capture mining rigs and outposts for income. Park a unit beside an enemy mine and their wages stop. Every structure you hold pays for your next squad.
Face three Crimson Pact commanders, each with their own doctrine and their own colours: Marshal Vex's crimson vanguard, Warden Brakk's green bastion and Baroness Aurum's gold treasury. Choose Easy, Normal or Hard.
Switch on vehicle mode and a depot rises beside your base: fast Buggies, heavy Tanks and Artillery, on flatter ground built for them.
Your marines answer every order, in Scottish accents, over an original score. HQ radios you a briefing, a word for every objective and a debrief, and the enemy commanders taunt you between them. Every rule in the Field Manual comes with its own little animation.
Twelve kinds of unit, each worth buying for a reason. Here are five of them.

Reliable all-rounder.

Shock assault: targets can't return fire.

Range 4, plus 1 from high ground.

Heavy armour; crushes infantry.

One use: destroyed when it attacks.
…and Engineers, Scouts, Artillery, Commanders, Rocketeers, Buggies and Tanks.
Kestrel-9 was promised to the Azure Corps; the Crimson Pact got there first. Brigadier Fenwick walks you through your first missions step by step, then rolls out the roster a unit at a time: Engineers and rigs, Snipers on the high ground, outposts, the Vehicle Depot, Tanks. By Endgame you are fighting hour-long battles on the biggest maps, with objectives to hit along the way and three stars to chase on every mission.
Play the campaign across four operations, take on today's Daily Challenge, set up a Skirmish on three board sizes, or pass one iPhone between two players.
